PROJECT RATIONALE

1. Education

•  Scholarship grants and subsidies to scholars in Magsingal National High School, San Juan National High School,and University of Northern Philippines

• Computer and book donations to Magsingal National High School, Miramar Elementary School, San Juan National High School, The Magsingal Institute, and University of Northern Philippines.

 

2. Sports Development

•  Develop grassroot football in Magsingal and San Juan, Ilocos Sur

• Maintain football field in Miramar,Magsingal, Ilocos Sur.

3. Livelihood Programs

•  Provide necessary training and economic opportunities to become employees, producers, contractors, business partners, savers and investors through sustainable livelihood programs.

• Tie up with private sectors and other business groups that will create jobs and livelihood opportunities for the poor as well as give members a chance to participate in the work through investments, sharing their business expertise and for job placements.

4. Medical Missions

•  The health program of VFI is supported by Vgent group officers, volunteer doctors, health professionals from DOH, PAGCOR, religious groups, volunteers from local hospitals and other civic groups.

•  The program strengthens through medical and dental missions becoming its means of reaching to the underserved of the community.

•  VFI promotes and implements community based health care, hygiene and sanitation

5. Vgent Community Educational Center

•  VFI Community development programs aimed at helping the poor by providing them shelter or housing and daily feeding program.

•  VFI programs and projects for the poor with the aid of generous private sectors, partners and donors.
